The Challenge

The challenges were two-fold…

The client initially approached Eyeful to provide development and design of 100 slides and onsite support for their 2011 internal conference in Rome. This conference is their major annual event, attended by international delegates from all areas of the business. The client needed to hold the attention of the audience through multiple presentations by different presenters.
This involved covering diverse subject matter from product innovations to financial reports, all whilst ensuring that their messaging was clear and memorable. We worked to balance consistent look and feel against repetition – ensuring that the separate presentations did not blur into one in the minds of the audience. Some of the presentations incorporated audio content and all of them needed to be editable and adaptable – right up to presentation time.Eyeful was ready to help…


Working with a conference organiser who was new to the role and had to be on top of every detail of the entire event (an unenviable task) and a lot of information to convey, it soon became apparent that the scale of work was much larger than anticipated.

Using our Presentation OptimisationTM methodology and top class project management, we were able to rise to the challenge.

A conference leaves no room for moving the deadline and with a vastly expanding brief we pulled out all the stops – working evening and weekends to get the job done. This continued through the event itself with our onsite designer working tirelessly to ensure that everything worked seamlessly.

The Result

By the end of the conference we had actually produced over 500 slides, this included ensuring that relevant existing slides were brought into template, giving every presentation had a seamless look and feel. Our onsite support enabled the presentations to be responsive and was much appreciated with the CEO inviting our designer onto the stage for a round of applause – marking the start of a great relationship.
